A big update since 1.1.0.

Your consent, first
- Previews and link checks contact the websites you bookmarked. Firefox now asks for website access and for sharing the bookmark address with that website in one prompt, and Bookmark Box checks both before every request. Decline or withdraw it at any time: nothing is sent, and your bookmarks are still saved.

Bookmark notes
- Add a personal note (up to 5,000 characters) to any bookmark from the Edit dialog. Notes appear on the card and in the details panel, and they are searchable.
- Notes are kept in Trash and restore, and included in exports and backups. When you merge duplicates, the notes from every copy are combined.

Advanced search
- Filters you can mix with ordinary words: tag:design, site:mozilla.org, note:important, exclusions such as -tutorial or -tag:old, and "exact phrases".
- A new ? button shows search tips with examples you can click.
- Mistyped or incomplete filters get a clear hint under the search box. Searching large libraries is faster.

Themes
- Choose Auto, Light or Dark from the header, the sidebar or Options. Auto follows your system and switches instantly.
- Keyboard focus is easier to see, and low-contrast text now meets WCAG AA.

Arabic and right-to-left
- The whole interface is now available in Arabic, with a full right-to-left layout. Choose Automatic, English or العربية; every open page switches without reloading.
- URLs and search filters stay left-to-right. Your own titles, notes and tags are never translated.

Reliability and polish
- Typing in the search box is no longer interrupted when the library refreshes in the background.
- Pausing and resuming preview capture no longer skips or loses a bookmark, including after Firefox puts the extension to sleep.
- Cancelling an export's Save dialog now simply says "Export cancelled."
- Export and Import controls fit narrow windows, and clicks on bookmark buttons are no longer lost during a refresh.
- Editing a bookmark saves all of the change or none of it.
- Plus many smaller stability and accessibility fixes.

Improved preview image sourcing

Bookmark Box now uses the page’s representative image when saving or re-capturing a bookmark. It checks Open Graph (og:image), Twitter card, JSON-LD schema image, and a hero-image heuristic before falling back to a viewport screenshot.
