Browsing Fast and Slow 作者: Nel
Want to limit unfulfilling web surfing? Create a list of websites that you want to limit. The next time you visit one of those sites, you'll have to make an access request --- and let your future self decide whether you have a good reason to visit.

关于此扩展
Feel like you're checking the same sites over and over, looking for the next hit of dopamine, without intention? This extension helps break the cycle of unfulfilling surfing.
The goal of this extension is to slow down your access to sites that you want to check on occasion, but not all the time. The approach is inspired by Daniel Kahneman's book, "Thinking Fast and Slow" -- fast thinking is instinctive and emotional; slow thinking is more deliberative, and more logical. Rather than letting the lizard brain win, this extension forces you to articulate why you want to access a specified website.
Create a list of websites that you want to limit. The next time you visit one of those sites, you'll have to make an access request --- and let your future self decide whether you have a good reason to visit. After a cooldown period that lets your "slow" thinking catch up to your "fast" browsing, you can decide whether to grant a time-limited amount of access to the site.
I use this to limit my access to Reddit; it's a fabulous information source that I'd like to visit on occasion, but I don't want to get sucked into scrolling.
