Burrowmarks does not collect, transmit, sell, rent, or analyze saved links, bookmark titles, notes, folders, master passwords, recovery keys, backup files, or extension usage.
Vault contents are encrypted and stored in Firefox local extension storage on the user's device. The temporary unlock key is held in Firefox session storage and is removed when the vault locks or Firefox restarts. Burrowmarks does not operate a sync service and does not receive this data.
When a user chooses to purchase a lifetime license, Stripe receives the information necessary to process the transaction under its own privacy policy. Burrowmarks license keys contain a non-personal order identifier and are verified locally by the extension. The extension makes no network request to activate a key.
Users may export standard bookmark HTML or an encrypted backup. Burrowmarks does not upload exported files. The user chooses where those files are stored.
Opening a saved link uses Firefox normally and may create browser history, network, or destination-site records. Burrowmarks does not provide anonymous browsing.
