Customaly browser addon — privacy policy

Where it runs. The extension is active only on www.etsy.com and app.customaly.com. It is not active on any other website.

What it reads. Publicly visible information on the Etsy page you are currently viewing: product and shop identifiers, titles, prices, ratings and tags. These identifiers are what it sends to our servers to fetch research figures for that page.

What it stores on your device. Your extension settings and the sign-in session for your Customaly account, in the browser's local extension storage. Uninstalling the extension removes all of it.

What it sends, and where.
- Product and shop identifiers to research.customaly.com (metrics) and agent.customaly.com (the AI product audit).
- Your Customaly session, as a bearer token, to those same endpoints and to our authentication provider so you stay signed in. The session is lifted from app.customaly.com after you sign in there; the extension never sees or handles your password.
- Product and shop content — title, tags, materials, category and the card snapshot — only for the product you explicitly ask to analyze or save.

What it never does. It does not read or transmit pages from any other website, does not record your Etsy search terms, does not track your browsing history, does not collect keystrokes or form input, does not read your Etsy account, orders or customers, does not post to Etsy on your behalf, and does not inject advertising or affiliate links.

Sharing. We do not sell your data and do not share it with data brokers or advertisers. Data is processed by our infrastructure providers (Supabase for database and authentication, our edge network, and the AI providers that generate the product audit) solely to deliver these features.

Retention and deletion. Favorites and drafts you save live in your Customaly account until you delete them or close the account. Uninstalling the extension clears everything held on your device.
