Really makes pages dark and pretty, easy on the eyes. Not totally reversing colors either so contrast is lower and easier. The only problem I have with it is lack of more granular features and keyboard shortcuts. I wish it was easier to disable just for one page on a click or do that with a key stroke rather than globally and I have to reset it again.

I meet this in Opera and after i search here in firefox, is great tool to work in dark in all most page, only have mini issues somtimes you can see video or image, but you can configuret the page you exclud of this dark mode.

I'm on a never ending quest to find the best dark tool. I love your work and i have you on chrome as well

First extension I install on any machine. But since the update to FF 55 I'm getting the unresponsive script error. Have to disable it until a fix comes along.

I really enjoy using this add on and I would use it all the time if I didn't have the same problem other reviewers are seeming to have as well: after updating to 55 I incessantly get an "unresponsive script" message, and I have to force quit firefox. Hope it gets fixed soon!

Freezes firefox 55 (and possibly giant memory hog in FF57 but not sure), even when darkmode is off.

It is a wonderful add-on, especially when one has to stare into two big screens most of the day. One significant problem though: Since Firefox was updated to 55 it has been the only add-on (of about 15 others) responsible for me getting the message "A web page is slowing down your browser. What would you like to do?", many, many times a day.

I was using the addon in firefox 55 in ubuntu.When using many websites like yahoo,google sheets etc, firefox was saying that "a webpage is slowing down your browse" and memory usage jumping above 2gb .This caused the entire system to hang.I disabled many addons and found that this addon was the culprit.

In Firefox 55.0.2 64-bit, when loading certain webpages (including http://mybrowseraddon.com/dark-mode.html) the browser displays an error message saying that the webpage is slowing down your browser. This happens all of the time on certain webpages (mybrowseraddon) and only some of the time on other webpages (duckduckgo.com). I am using Windows 10 Pro 64-bit.

The facebook theme is fantastic, as is the Google Inbox theme. The whitelist feature is a little clunky, but it's well worth it for a dark-theme junkie like me.

Miniscule thing: I wish the facebook theme left the facebook messenger custom colors intact. My friends and I color-code our conversations, so I'd like to have that back, but that's an odd use-case, I realize.

I think this is one of the best addons out there and i love the simplicity of it, however i keep getting an error from time to time that makes Firefox un-useable Says "A script on this page may be busy, or it may have stopped responding. You can stop the script now, open the script in the debugger, or let the script continue. Script: moz-extension://8916be42-727f-…/data/content_script/inject.js:94"

Its very good solution for night readers. Must have.

Simple to use, and great custom theme sets. Good for people that want something that "just works". However, the customization available is not user friendly, such as the whitelist management UI really unappealing. If there is an option to add current site to whitelist from the button it'll be better!

It is really very nice pack of themes.

Can't Install Dark Mode Add-on after downloading, it always appears this message from ff since 3 days: 'Can't install Add-on because it seems to be broken.'
The problem happens to all older versions, too!
My ff version etc. is supported.
I even have the support for chrome addons installed (chrome store foxified) to fit better with webextensions -the problem persists.
Just wanted to inform you about the issue.

Like the title says it's a good toggle for night time browsing, the only thing it needs is a keyboard shortcut to toggle the switch then it will be perfect.

When accessing certain websites, like a forum that contains mix contents and ads, having just the addon there enabled but not turned on dark mode already can cause memory leaks. Eg: https://forum.lowyat.net

This is tested on Linux, unsure about other OS. Other websites should do fine...

You should try it. There are some obvious differences. And then some:
- It works with internal Firefox pages.
- It works with Windows High Contrast theme.
- It doesn't break any add-on pop-up panel.
- On facebook, it preserves original site icons.

Probé con varias otras extensiones y todas eran lo mismo, cambiaban a modo nocturno todas las páginas, algunas se veían bien, otras no, pero con este addon no tuve ese problema, sencillo, eficaz y eficiente.

I have tried quite a few that will darken the screen on some pages but won't on others. This one is the easiest by far and seems to work seamlessly. All the "features" i.e. allowed to write whitelist, the button to turn on and off makes this one above others. Thanks!

It works well, but usability-wise it's not great. I find the toolbar button rather unintuitive (I understand the logic, but the orange looks like it's on even though it's off) and all the preferences should be available through a popup from the toolbar button, especially the whitelist (shouldn't it be called blacklist), so I can see changes immediately.

I've searched for this for soo long and finally found this wonderful Addon. It does exactly what I always wanted and even more! The options are insanely good, the addon itself is very fast and works almost with every site!

One thing that I would love to have is to "blacklist" a site again when you have the site whitelisted with just a rightlick. Now you have to go to the addon settings and remove the URL (Right click --> "Exclude from Dark Mode").
