A Dead by Daylight generator skill check ambushes your doomscrolling.

Every so often while you scroll YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Reddit or X, the page freezes, the video pauses, and a skill check appears. Hit the sweeping needle inside the white zone to repair the generator and get back to watching.

The longer you binge in one sitting, the worse it gets. Killer perks switch on one by one: the needle speeds up, the zone shrinks, it spawns in unexpected spots, the heartbeat pounds, and eventually a Merciless Storm finale hits.

Miss too many checks and the Killer catches you. You get hooked — a takeover with a harder struggle minigame. Struggle free to bypass the timeout, or get sacrificed and locked out of that site for a while. Two hooks and it's a forced ban.

Everything is tunable from the toolbar popup: which sites it runs on, how often it strikes, difficulty, audio, the hit key, and overlay placement. Nothing leaves your machine — all settings are stored locally.
