Stops DeepSeek chat from auto-scrolling while the AI generates a response.
On the official DeepSeek web chat, the page constantly scrolls to follow new text as it streams — pulling the viewport down every few hundred milliseconds. That makes it impossible to read earlier parts of a long answer while it's still being generated.
This extension completely freezes the scroll position during generation:
- Full freeze — the viewport stays exactly where you put it while the response streams. No following, no jumping, no yanking.
- Manual scrolling still works — wheel, trackpad, scrollbar, and keyboard scrolling are untouched.
- One-click toggle — click the toolbar icon to switch the freeze on or off instantly (badge shows ON/OFF), no page reload needed.
- Lightweight — a single tiny content script. No data is collected or transmitted; everything runs locally.
Works with all DeepSeek chat modes, including "DeepThink" (R1) reasoning output.
