The moment a page loads, DemoGuards scans the visible text for things that shouldn't be in a screenshot — customer emails, phone numbers, credit cards, SSNs, JWTs, API keys and tokens from popular developer and SaaS tools, and social handles — and quietly blurs them. CUSTOM REDACTION RULES
Define your own patterns in the dashboard — internal codenames, customer IDs, account numbers — and DemoGuards will redact or substitute them automatically wherever they appear.
PER-SITE CONTROL
Pause DemoGuards on sites you trust from the toolbar popup. Settings sync to your team account.
PRIVACY-FIRST BY DESIGN
• Page content is scanned locally in your browser. Nothing is sent to our servers.
• Only event counts and SHA-256 hashed domain names are reported back, and only when you enable the audit log.
• You can disable all reporting from the dashboard.
