What the extension does
DexSavesImages watches pages you turn it on for and saves images you view to your own Downloads folder. It's off by default on every site; you turn it on per site from the toolbar popup.

What data it accesses
The images and pages you browse, only on sites where you've turned auto-save on — used solely to detect and save images as they load.
Your extension settings (minimum image size, save folder pattern, and so on) and a small local history of image URLs/filenames already saved, used only to avoid saving duplicates.

Where that data goes
Nowhere but your own computer. All settings and history are stored using your browser's built-in local extension storage (chrome.storage.local), on your device only. DexSavesImages does not have a server, does not make network requests of its own to any third party, and does not use analytics, tracking, or advertising services.

Downloads
Images are saved using your browser's own downloads API, directly to your Downloads folder (in a subfolder you can configure). No image or filename is ever sent anywhere else.

The "Support this extension" button
The popup includes an optional button that opens buymeacoffee.com/akuzas in a new tab, for anyone who'd like to support the developer. It only opens when you click it; DexSavesImages sends nothing to that site itself, and Buy Me a Coffee's own privacy policy governs anything you choose to do on their page.

Permissions this extension requests, and why
downloads — to save images to your Downloads folder.
storage — to remember your settings and which images were already saved, locally.
scripting / access to all sites — to detect images on pages where you've turned auto-save on.
activeTab — so the popup can show and toggle auto-save for the site you're currently viewing.
