A small color-coded badge (green through red) shows how old each story actually is, so articles that have been quietly re-shuffled or bumped back to the top days after they first ran are easy to spot at a glance. If a story was significantly edited well after publishing, a small ↻ flag calls that out too. Everything runs locally in your browser — dates are fetched once per article and cached indefinitely, so there's no tracking, no accounts, and no ongoing network chatter. Thresholds, badge colors, and even which corner of the card the badge appears in are all yours to customize from the toolbar popup.
