- Hi! First of all thank you. I've already downloaded a bunch of books with this app. However I have encountered an error when I try downloading on asianfanfics.com.
"
[JavaScript Application]
There is no downloadable story on this page."
This is what I keep getting when I try to download. Hopefully this would be fixed soon. Thank you - Edit 9/1/26: App was updated! Zero complaints 💛
This extension is great! However, recently it stopped allowing you to download whole series' from Literotica, which is actually the reason why I had sought this extension out since Calibre abruptly stopped allowing that as well. I don't know if there's a legal or technical reason why it's not allowed anymore or if both programs are just glitching about the same thing? However, I'll continue to use it as it is far more convenient than copying and pasting links into Calibre. Regardless of my frustrations with this particular issue, I do thank the creator for making and maintaining this extension, it's really great.开发者回应
发布于 1 个月前Hi,
This is the result of some recent changes that Literotica have made to their website. There have been several in the last few weeks, and I have added compatibility with all of them into FicLab's next release.
That release is currently stuck behind some Firefox debugging of its MV3 support (which has taken ages to get right), but is nearly ready to ship.
Please note that FicLab is a one-man hobby project that I work on in my own, very limited, spare time. I am *hoping* to have the v1.1 release out later this week, although I do not want to make promises.
Cheers,
Steve - 评分 5 / 5来自 Firefox 用户 15304775, 9 个月前

发布于 10 个月前This is a known issue with that particular website, which I have a fix pending for. In the meantime, the workaround is to simply log out of that website before downloading the story, as this issue affects only logged-in users.- 评分 5 / 5来自 Firefox 用户 18842787, 2 年前

- It's been truly fantastic, but with today's (Oct 2, 2022) update, it now returns the following error: 'Render (docx): Remote render failed: Websocket communication error'. It says it for each download option, and clearing my cookies/cache didn't fix the issue. Any guidance would be appreciated. (EDIT Oct 3: It's no longer an issue! Updating rating for 4 -> 5 stars)

发布于 4 年前Some formats (docx, mobi, azw3 & pdf) are rendered remotely. The error you saw was due to some server downtime on that day - FicLab was complaining about being unable to contact the rendering server.
I normally post on Twitter (@ficlabapp) in advance of any planned downtime that may affect FicLab users. - 评分 5 / 5来自 moonpoolart, 4 年前

发布于 6 年前Please contact me via www.ficlab.com/contact for assistance with troubleshooting your issues. The indents in particular are more likely to be a bug in your reader app; FicLab doesn't add paragraph indents in the chapter text unless it's configured to do so.
If you dislike the way the covers work, it would be useful if you could let me know what it is about the covers you object to - I'm generally fairly responsive to user feedback on that kind of thing.
