Filigree turns the text you are already typing into fancy Unicode fonts, right inside the field. Select a few words on Instagram, X, Discord, YouTube or Reddit, pick a style from the preview list, and your text is restyled in place. No generator site, no copy-paste, no lost draft.

HONEST LIMITS
- Accented letters (é, à, ü) have no Unicode equivalent and stay unstyled. Every tool in this category shares that limit.
- Fancy Unicode is decorative. Screen readers and search engines do not read it as plain letters, so keep it for bios, captions and chats rather than professional or accessibility-critical writing.
- Canvas-based editors such as Google Docs are not supported, and neither is text inside iframes.

PRIVACY
Filigree has no server and no account. Nothing is collected, nothing is sent. The text you restyle never leaves your browser.

PERMISSIONS
The extension runs only on the supported social sites. Adding another site is optional and requested at the moment you click "enable on this site", and you can revoke it whenever you want.
