🛡 Focus Guard – block distracting websites and protect your focus
Add the sites that pull you away from your work – social media, news, video – and Focus Guard replaces them with a calm reminder page whenever you try to open them.
✅ Block distractions – Blocks a site and all its subdomains. Type it any way you like (a full web address, capital letters, *.example.com); Focus Guard cleans it up.
✅ Instant – Blocking a site also blocks tabs that are already open on it.
✅ Profiles – Separate blocklists for Work, Study or Evening, and switch in one click. Each device keeps its own active profile.
✅ Your reminder – Show your own image on the blocked page, or keep the default.
✅ Backup – Export your profiles to a file and import them in another browser.
✅ Comfortable – Dark mode that follows your system, and a manager you can use with the keyboard.
🔒 Private by design
• No accounts, no servers, no tracking, no ads.
• Focus Guard makes no network requests at all. This is enforced by its security policy and checked by automated tests.
• Your blocklists stay in your browser. If you use browser sync, your browser keeps them in sync across your devices through your own Google or Mozilla account. The developer never sees them.

About the permissions
• "Storage" saves your blocklists and settings.
• "Access browser activity during navigation" (Chrome calls it "Read your browsing history") lets Focus Guard see which site a tab is opening, so it can check it against your blocklist. Nothing is recorded or sent anywhere.
