What changed:

Zero hardcoded blocklist — the extension starts completely empty
User adds whatever they want blocked, nothing is assumed
YouTube, Reddit, LinkedIn still have smart contextual logic (shorts blocked, tutorials allowed) — but only if user enables smart analysis
Strict mode toggle kills all contextual exceptions
Settings UI is clean — just one list, your sites, nothing else

What's in v3.0
Settings panel — click the extension icon in the toolbar to open it. Three tabs:
Blocklist tab:

Type any domain (e.g. twitch.tv) and hit Add — it gets blocked immediately
Your custom sites show with a red dot and a × to remove them
Built-in sites shown below for reference (can't be removed)
Input auto-cleans the domain — paste a full URL and it strips https://www. automatically

Settings tab:

Toggle the extension on/off completely
Toggle browser notifications on/off
Toggle smart analysis (YouTube tutorials allowed etc.)
Strict mode — blocks YouTube, Reddit, LinkedIn with zero exceptions

Stats tab:

Warnings fired, tabs blocked, times ignored, times you actually left
Reset button to clear stats

Version 2.2 — Real-Time Tab Scanning

Fixed the core issue where the extension was not automatically detecting open tabs.

What's new:
- Extension now scans all open tabs every 3 seconds in real-time
- Warning fires instantly when you open a distraction site
- No more manual reload required — works automatically from the moment it's installed
- Improved tab detection reliability across all sites

Fixed critical issue where the extension was not working on already-open tabs after installation.

Changes:
- Fixed content script injection for tabs opened before the extension was installed
- Fixed warning message text not displaying (bodyMsg key mismatch)
- Extension now crawls all open tabs 1.5 seconds after install instead of waiting 45 seconds
- Improved reliability of tab scanning and warning delivery
