Summary: after an explicit consent screen, the extension reads only the YouTube video open in the current tab (video ID, title, channel, duration and subtitles) and sends it only to gistil.com to produce the verdict. It does not read browsing history, sell data or show ads. A random installation ID is stored in the extension's own storage to count the free allowance; it is removed with the extension. Signing in (Google, via Firebase on gistil.com) is optional and only needed to analyze new videos. Contact: support@gistil.com
