Tired of Google shoving an AI Overview at the top of every search? This extension gets rid of it.

Two modes:

Safe mode — quietly appends -ai to your query. Google hides the AI Overview when it sees a negative term. Nothing else on the page changes. Downside: it filters out results that contain the word "ai".
Full destruction mode — leaves your query alone and rips the AI Overview out of the page after it loads. No query pollution, but on slow connections you might see it flash for a moment.

Also does:

Hides the "AI Mode" tab in the search filter row.
Blocks the Tab-to-AI-Mode keyboard shortcut so you stop landing in AI Mode by accident.
One-click pause from the toolbar when you actually want the AI stuff for a single search.

No tracking. No analytics. No remote code. No data collection.

Works on google.com plus the major country variants (.de, .co.uk, .fr, .es, .it, .nl, .ca, .com.au).
