GreerGuard™ protects you from browser-based scams that try to lock and prevent you from leaving a webpage.
𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘁 𝗯𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗸𝘀
Some malicious pages take over your browser and try to prevent you from leaving, displaying fake "your computer is infected" alerts with countdown timers designed to pressure you into calling a scam number or installing malicious software. GreerGuard detects these deceptive behaviors in real time and redirects you to a clear warning page before you can be tricked.
𝗖𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗯𝗼𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻
Some pages silently overwrite your clipboard without you copying anything. GreerGuard intercepts these attempts and alerts you immediately, showing you what was written and giving you a one-tap option to clear it.
𝗘𝘅𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝘂𝗱𝗶𝘁
GreerGuard scans your other installed browser extensions and flags any that hold unusually powerful permissions, such as reading every page you visit, accessing your cookies, or routing your traffic through a third-party server. You decide what to keep.
𝗔𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗲𝗲𝗱
If you choose to continue past a warning, GreerGuard follows up with a quiet prompt asking whether the site turned out to be safe, so you can trust it going forward or close the tab with a single tap.
𝗛𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 & 𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁
Every blocked or flagged site is logged locally so you can review what was caught. Trusted sites are saved and never warned again. You can audit and report suspicious sites directly from the popup.

Pair with the GreerGuard Android app using a pairing code to send blocked site events to your Android app in real time.

GreerGuard watches for deceptive behavioral patterns only. It does not use blocklists of domain names or scan page content. Detection is entirely on-device. When you have not linked the extension to the GreerGuard Android app, no browsing data is collected or transmitted.
