What this extension is. The Hadaf Track browser extension is a workplace tool. It is installed by an employer, by enterprise policy, on company-managed devices that already run the Hadaf Track desktop application. It has no user interface.

What it collects. One thing: the address (URL) of the tab that is currently active in the focused browser window, together with a flag saying whether that tab is playing audio. URLs are reported only for pages served over http or https. It also re-sends the current value every 30 seconds as a liveness heartbeat.

What it does not collect. It does not read page content, text, form fields, passwords, cookies, keystrokes or mouse activity. It has no content scripts and no host permissions, so it has no access to the pages themselves. It does not report system pages, local files or extension pages. In Firefox it does not run in private windows unless a device administrator explicitly permits it.

Where the data goes. The extension sends nothing to the internet. Its only outbound channel is a native-messaging connection to the Hadaf Track application installed on the same computer. That application, which the employer administers, is what forwards activity data to the employer's Hadaf Track workspace. If the desktop application is not installed, the extension sends nothing at all and does nothing.

Storage. The extension stores no data of its own — no browser storage, no cookies, no local history. It holds the last reported URL in memory only, to avoid sending duplicates.

Who sees it. The employer that deployed Hadaf Track. Retention and access inside the employer's workspace are governed by that employer's own policy. Hadaf Solutions does not sell or share this data with third parties and does not use it for advertising.

Your rights. Employees should be informed of this monitoring by their employer before the extension is deployed. Requests about access, correction or deletion of collected data should go to the employer that operates the Hadaf Track workspace, or to Hadaf Solutions at privacy@hadafsolutions.net.
