Prefer your USB/NFC hardware security key over built-in passkeys? This extension catches websites' silent passkey-autofill prompts and explicit login pop-ups, and offers a choice: sign in with your key, or continue with the site's passkeys.
You choose per prompt, or set a global default (ask every time, always convert, or off) in the toolbar popup. Explicit login prompts (e.g. "Sign in with passkey" buttons) can be redirected too — enable "Regular login prompts" in the popup; it's off by default, and requests already aimed at a hardware key are always left alone. Only use the hardware key where you already registered one, otherwise the site will reject the attempt.
Note: browsers treat the hardware-key preference as a hint, not a hard rule, so on some sites built-in options may still appear alongside it.
Privacy: the extension collects nothing, makes no network requests, and stores only your preferences locally.
- Sign in with hardware key: re-runs the site's own login as a pop-up that asks for your security key instead of a built-in passkey. The site's challenge and account scope stay exactly the same; only the authenticator choice is steered toward roaming keys.
- Continue with site's passkeys: leaves the site untouched; its normal passkey / password autofill proceeds as if the extension wasn't here.

Note: This might not work on every site. For example, if the key is not registered or it is registered as a "Security Key" / MFA-option, the site might reject it and nothing will happen. Same goes for login, if you don't have your key registered, it won't be accepted.
