Thanks to the develper, problems have been solved.

1. It will always make my selected text be unselected when hovering around(custom highlighting & always enable).
2. There isn't a way to toggle the existing highlighting effect off unless I reload the page. I use custom highlighting mode with 3 colors. I notice there is an option"Keep text highlighted upon click in the page(when only one color is used)", so could it be possible to add one more option(I mean one feature) -- Toggle in-page highlighting effect by press a combination key?开发者回应
发布于 7 年前To remove highlighting, just right-click anywhere in the page to remove all marks, or right-click on a highlighted text to remove highlighting on the occurrences of this text. - 评分 5 / 5来自 Firefox 用户 12531136， 8 年前This search plugin add the auto-highlight and scroll-bar-highlight feature. This is very helpful to anyone who want to quickly locate search results in an webpage. Recommend to give it a try.
- 评分 5 / 5来自 CanIregisterThisTime， 8 年前This highlighter does what it says it will do so five stars, but I'm going to uninstall it because in the end it doesn't really do very much that you cannot do natively. I wish I could find a more feature-rich highlighter. I'd like to have predefined words or phrases that are automatically highlighted when I open a page, or if not automatically, will highlight when a toolbar button or hotkey is pressed.
