- This extension removes affiliate links upon clicking the button to search for deals, taking any commission for themselves. They make themselves a middleman to extract value from youtubers and such who relied on those affiliate links. Never once did I find a deal with coupons. Nay, the coupons were only a ruse to get you to install the addon so they can steal affiliate link commissions.
OWNED BY PAYPAL. They are paid to give out worse coupons to customers as well. - 评分 1 / 5来自 Firefox 用户 18746928, 1 年前They are actually scum, their entire business model steals from affiliate links from people actually doing the marketing and even if they work or not to give you a discount, they steal the commission. Disgusting.

So suspect that anybody that's still advertising it should also be suspect.
PayPal clearly wouldn't have bought this for $4billion if it only worked as advertised. - 评分 1 / 5来自 Firefox 用户 18736674, 1 年前Deliberately hides high value coupons from you and steals affiliate commissions from real affilates despite rarely providing any savings. Avoid this scam.

It's also impossibly hard to get Honey Gold anymore. Don't bother with this app. - 评分 1 / 5来自 Firefox 用户 14324369, 1 年前
- This extension was recently outed as a scam. After checking and verifying it for myself, I can indeed say that the results seem true and it saddens me. I was hoping to actually get good deals and such like that. But now it seems that they are taking more from all of us than we really thought was possible. Guess I would have to go somewhere else to see if I can find more deals in this way.
- As y'all have seen from other comments, Honey has been scamming both consumers and influencers out of our money.
They've lied to consumers about finding "the best deal" when in reality many of the businesses they partner with and offer coupons for have asked for them to be selective about the coupons they offer. This screws us consumers over because we then don't think to scour the internet for better deals that are likely out there.
For your favorite influencers, whenever you click an affiliate link they provide, if you click on ANY Honey pop-up, it'll override their commission and that commission goes to Honey instead. And even further, even if they "give you rewards" for that commission they made, you're potentially getting less than 1% of that commission.
I should've known from the beginning it was too good to be true (apparently Markiplier even predicted years ago that something was off about Honey even if he didn't know what), but I especially should've known something was wrong when Paypal with their annoying selves bought Honey. - 评分 1 / 5来自 Firefox 用户 18746844, 1 年前
