Loved it but is not working in linux why?

I watched The World Cup using this proxy. Sometimes I went over the limit (1,5 or 2 Gb), but, as I understand, they have a soft policy about that, and block you (for 24 hours), I would say, very far from that limit. Which is great.

I need to cheat only my geo location and this addon is doing it well.

Only one thing bothers me. It applies proxy settings for all tabs, windows and private windows and becomes off when you restart the browser.

Truly it tells me i am in one state but my real IP shows up. Whats going on?

I am outside the US for a few months and I can not stream/watch amazon prime and other US online content. This Hoxx VPN which is installed and embeded in my firefox browser doesn't work at all for me.
