IDU+ is a modern visual and usability upgrade for the IDU school portal, designed to make the everyday school experience cleaner, calmer, more personal, and easier to use.
The standard IDU portal contains all the important school tools students need, but its interface can feel outdated, dense, and visually inconsistent. IDU+ keeps the original portal and its functionality intact, while adding a polished modern layer on top of it. The result is a more comfortable school dashboard that feels closer to a productivity app, planner, or modern student workspace.
With IDU+, the portal becomes easier to scan at a glance. Dashboard sections, school modules, navigation items, buttons, forms, cards, subject rows, event lists, documents, messages, and profile areas are visually refined so that information feels more organized and less overwhelming. The extension focuses on improving the experience of using IDU every day without changing the underlying school system.
A major part of IDU+ is customization. Every student uses the portal differently, so the interface should not feel locked into one fixed appearance. IDU+ lets you personalize the way IDU looks and feels with appearance controls such as light and dark mode, custom accent colors, topbar colors, title font choices, and layout options. You can keep the classic portal structure or switch to a modern sidebar-style workspace layout for a more app-like experience.

The design uses a soft glass-style interface, cleaner spacing, rounded panels, modern typography, subtle borders, gentle shadows, improved contrast, and a more consistent visual hierarchy.
