Jalali Datepicker is a simple Firefox extension that shows the current Jalali (Shamsi) date in a small popup. It is designed for users who prefer the Persian calendar or work with it daily and want quick access to the correct date without switching apps or websites.
When you click the extension icon, a lightweight popup opens and displays today’s Jalali date, converted accurately from the system’s Gregorian date. The extension works entirely offline and does not collect or send any data. It is useful for Persian-speaking users, developers, students, and anyone who needs a fast Jalali date reference inside the browser.
This add-on does not modify web pages, does not track browsing activity, and does not require any permissions. It only provides a standalone date display panel.

Known limitations:
- The popup currently displays only today’s date. Month view and conversion tools may be added later.
- Tested mainly on Firefox 142 and newer, as Manifest V3 support is still being finalized.
