Key Navigator is a method of browsing the Internet without the aid of a computer mouse. Web browsers have no built-in function to navigate the hyperlinks of the web. This add-on makes your keyboard even more powerful.

Navigate Web pages

"0-9" Keys type hyperlink number ID
"Enter" Navigates to link in current tab
"Ctrl" toggles open in new tab
Type "kn" in Address bar to navigate by IDs
" ` " Activates addon "Listener" for special keys (Always active)

This addon may be put into "Listening" mode by pushing the backtick (`) button. It then listens for numbers and special keys. Pressing "Enter" after typing a number will navigate to chosen webpage.

This addon is always listening for number input (only exclusion is when in Text Mode: the cursor is in a text input area). While in Text Mode, special keys are inactive until the "Listening" mode is activated by numerical input or press of the backtick key.

This addon's request for permission to "Access your data for all websites" is necessary because it must read all HTML markup on the website to discover and indicate HTML anchor tags as hyperlinks.
