koko-tts does not collect or receive user data and contains no analytics, advertising, telemetry, accounts, or tracking.

When the user explicitly invokes text-to-speech, selected text or extracted webpage content, voice selection, and speech settings are transmitted to the Kokoro-compatible endpoint configured by the user.
This endpoint may be local or remote.

The developer does not select, operate, monitor, or receive data from the configured endpoint. Users should configure only servers they trust and use HTTPS for remote connections.

Preferences may be stored using Firefox Sync. Article data required by the player may be stored locally in Firefox extension storage until replaced or cleared. Generated downloads are saved through
Firefox’s download system.
