Updated Popup Colors

Summary

This version updates the color palette of the extension popup. The popup now uses the Kanagawa Wave palette — calm, muted tones that are easier on the eyes. Text, button, and background colors are more consistent and have better contrast.

Easier Exchange Rates

Summary

This version makes it easier to adjust exchange rates directly in the extension popup. If the automatic rate is not the one you want to use, you can enter a custom rate, and the extension will use it for display and conversion. The release is also prepared as version 1.0.0 for Firefox and Chromium-based browsers.



What changed

For Kufar.by users

• Custom rates in the popup: you can now manually change the USD, EUR, or RUB rate. This is useful if you want to use a bank rate, an exchange-office rate, or another reference instead of the automatic rate.
• Visible manual values: manually changed rates are highlighted in the list. This makes it easier to see where a custom rate is used and where the automatic rate is still used.
• More compact popup: the extension popup now has a fixed width and uses a dark design. Rates and the converter should look cleaner in a small browser popup window.

Rates and currencies

• Rates are saved: a custom rate is saved in the browser and keeps applying after rates are refreshed. This reduces the risk of a manually chosen value disappearing after new data is loaded.
• Automatic rate can be restored: for a changed rate, you can remove the manual value and use the automatically fetched rate again.
• Converter uses custom rates: if a currency has a custom rate, the popup converter calculates BYN with that rate. The result is now shown in a clearer format: a BYN amount with two decimal places.
• Shorter rate display: rates in the popup are now shown with three decimal places. The list is easier to read, especially in the compact popup.

Even More Prices

Summary

The extension now detects prices in new block types on Kufar.by pages that appeared in recent site updates. Prices should now be replaced even in multi-region widgets, price blocks on listing cards, and gallery headers.



What changed

For Kufar.by users

• New price areas detected: the extension now finds prices in dynamic Kufar.by blocks — multi-region widgets, price blocks on listing cards, and gallery headers. Previously, prices in these page areas could remain in BYN.
• Preparing for future changes: added tests to verify the extension works correctly on updated Kufar.by pages. This reduces the risk of a future site update breaking price conversion.

Fixed

• Fixed a case where prices could stay in BYN on some Kufar.by pages in multi-region blocks and gallery headers — the extension now detects and converts them.

Prices Everywhere on Kufar

Summary

The extension now works on the main kufar.by domain, not just on auto, re, and travel subdomains. The popup has a new "All" toggle that enables or disables price conversion across all Kufar sections at once. Promo tile images have been added for browser extension stores.

• Main kufar.by domain: the extension can now convert prices on the main kufar.by website. Previously, it only worked reliably on subdomains (auto, re, travel). You no longer need to visit a subdomain to see prices in your chosen currency.
• Global "All" toggle: the popup now has a master switch that enables or disables price conversion across all Kufar sections at once. Handy when you want to temporarily turn off the extension on the entire site.

Lighter and Cleaner

Summary

The extension package became roughly 20 times smaller by removing unnecessary files from the build. Exchange rates and the converter work exactly as before, but installing and updating the extension is now faster. Permissions are tighter — the extension only requests access to the addresses it actually needs.

• More domains: real estate (re.kufar.by) and travel (travel.kufar.by) are now supported alongside auto. Prices convert to your chosen currency across all three domains.
• Tighter permissions: the extension only accesses Kufar subdomains and the NBRB exchange-rate API — no extra permissions.
