LikeToDownload is a Firefox extension that automatically downloads attached media from liked Twitter/X posts

By default, files are saved using this path template:

LikeToDownload/{user_handle}/{date}-{post_id}-{index}.{extension}


For example:

LikeToDownload/artist/20260725-1234567890123456789-1.jpg


• The target directory is relative to Firefox's Downloads folder
  as WebExtensions are not allowed to write to an arbitrary path.
• Images are requested at their original size.
• As Twitter/X sometimes fails to show the liked/bookmarked state on old posts,
  posts on likes/bookmarks pages will be assumed liked/bookmarked
• Twitter converts GIFs into MP4, as there is no way to reliably download the
  original GIF at the moment, MP4 variant will be downloaded instead.
