This extention only uses localhost and 127.0.0.1 permissions to access AnkiConnct, an extention that can add anki cards over the HTTP protocol. The URL that is to be interacted with is the default AnkiConnect URL and port number and other URLs will be accessed if it is explicitly types into the AnkiConnect URL box
