Luminar evaluates page readability locally. Nothing is transmitted until the user triggers a briefing. When triggered, the relevant video transcript or readable page text, source URL, title, author or channel, and timing or reading metadata are sent to Luminar's backend and AI providers solely to generate and display the briefing. Signed-in briefings may be saved to the user's library. Luminar does not sell user data, serve ads, or collect content the user did not ask it to process.
