How many times are you watching a youtube video and are wanting the direct responses other viewers have had at that specific moment in the video? This extension provides the solution.

Lyve adds a synchronized, time-anchored chat overlay to YouTube videos, allowing viewers to post and read messages tied to specific moments in a video.

• Create a free account to chat and sign in from the Settings panel

Lyve is currently in private beta. An account is required to post. Viewing is read-only until your account is approved.

Lyve is an independent third-party extension. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by YouTube or Google LLC.

Data collected:

Personally identifiable information: Email address, used for account sign-in.
Authentication information: Password, sent to Firebase for authentication and not stored by the extension, plus authentication tokens used to keep the user signed in.
Website content / user-generated content: Chat messages, display name or username, and the YouTube video ID that a message is attached to.
