Motrix Extension connects Firefox with Motrix, allowing you to send downloads without leaving the browser and manage them from a compact popup.

Features:

• Create HTTP, HTTPS, and magnet download tasks.
• Send links to Motrix from the browser.
• Detect video, audio, and image resources loaded by the current page.
• Monitor download speed and task progress.
• Pause, resume, remove, and reveal supported tasks.
• Optionally hand eligible browser downloads to the local Motrix App.
• Save and switch between multiple Motrix Server connections.
• Keep pairing credentials and data permissions isolated for each Server.

Firefox on desktop can connect to the local Motrix App or a remote Motrix Server. Firefox for Android connects through Motrix Server because Native Messaging is not available on Android.

A compatible Motrix App or Motrix Server is required. The extension does not bypass DRM, and some temporary, protected, or site-specific media resources may not be downloadable.
