My IP — VPN Location shows the country from which your browser currently accesses the internet.
Features:
- public IPv4 and IPv6 addresses;
- country flag and network/ASN information;
- warning if IPv4 and IPv6 exit through different countries;
- local check history with timestamps, trigger type, country, and GeoIP cache/request status;
- optional checks at browser startup, when the popup opens, on a new tab, or on a chosen interval;
- optional notifications when the public IP address or exit country changes.
Privacy-first:
- no analytics, telemetry, accounts, cookies, browsing history, visited URLs, or page content;
- check history and settings stay only in the local browser;
- public IP is requested from api.ipify.org and api6.ipify.org;
- the detected public IP is sent to api.ipapi.is only to obtain country and ASN information; GeoIP data is cached locally.
