Nestmark is a web highlighter and note-taker for people who read to learn: students, researchers and writers.

Select text on any website and mark it in one of 18 colors and styles. Add a private note to remember why it mattered. Come back tomorrow or next month and everything is right where you left it: each highlight is anchored by its place on the page and by the words around it, so it survives page updates and multi-paragraph selections.

WHAT YOU CAN DO
• Mark text with a right-click or Alt+H; undo with Alt+Z
• Annotate any passage with notes you can search and export
• See everything you've saved across every page, with search, sorting and grouping
• Make the styles your own: create, edit, reorder or hide colors and effects
• Export to Markdown (ready for Obsidian or Notion), CSV or JSON, and import backups
• Have any passage read aloud
• Stay on the keyboard: remove with Alt+D, open the sidebar with Alt+S
