What's new

• Your color can now go anywhere in the status description.
  Until now, the color was only picked up when it was the first thing in parentheses in the status description. If the description started with anything else, the color was lost. You can now add a color marker such as (nscp:green) anywhere in the description and it will be used. Descriptions written the old way keep working exactly as before.
• Status colors on the Calendar tab of Jira Software boards.
  The Calendar tab now shows your status colors, just like the Board, Backlog, Timeline and List tabs. This includes the statuses listed in the calendar's filter.
• Issue Matrix colors are back.
  Status colors inside the Issue Matrix panel had stopped showing after Issue Matrix changed the way it is delivered. They now show again, including after you collapse and expand the panel.
• Status colors on the new Jira Software timeline.
  Jira redesigned the Timeline view of Software boards. Status colors now show on the new design as well as on the previous one.

Improvements and fixes

• Consistent colors when two statuses share a name.
  If a status name exists both site-wide and inside a project, the site-wide status now always decides the color. Before, the result could depend on the order in which Jira listed the statuses.
• Your tooltips are left untouched.
  The extension no longer changes the text Jira shows in status tooltips.
• Better readability of red statuses.
  Statuses such as Cancelled, Rejected or Failed are now always shown with black text on red, which is easier to read. On some administration pages they were shown with white text.
• Rounded status lozenges on the Service Management board.
  Colored statuses on that board keep their rounded corners and border again.

Fixed a bug where status colors were no longer showing up after a recent Jira update changed status labels into clickable buttons.

- Service desk queues
- Issue search
- Issue lists
- Jira Plans
- Backlog
- The "View Workflow" button inside the status dropdown works again on all of these screens.

Fixed status colors not applying when opening an issue's side panel from a service desk queue.
