The word challenge now shows two words that read together, like "autumn
tree" or "silver kettle". There are thousands of combinations instead of
a hundred words, so the same one almost never comes up twice. You need
to type the space between them.

Settings and the popup no longer animate their controls into place when
they open.

Setup now lets you pick a theme and colour when you first install, and
shows the change as you choose. It no longer asks about the auto-hide
timer, which stays on by default.

Toggles in Settings now animate instead of snapping, and blocked sites
slide in and out of the list.

Settings also stays on whichever tab you were on when you reload the
page.

Shorts are hidden in more places: the Shorts tab on channel pages, the
newer thumbnails in search results, and notification rows, which no
longer leave an empty row behind. Also in the subscriptions feed,
suggested videos, and playlists.

Live chat is treated like comments on both YouTube and Twitch, and comes
back when you peek. Twitch theater mode no longer leaves a blank column,
and YouTube live streams in theater mode no longer leave the video shrunk
beside an empty gap.

Instagram's Reels tab is hidden on profiles, not just in the main
navigation.

leave a rating.

Fixes a layout problem on YouTube live streams in theater mode. YouTube
shrinks the video to make room for live chat, so hiding the chat used to
leave the video small with an empty space beside it. The video now fills
the width properly.

On both YouTube and Twitch, hiding chat now uses the site's own chat
control rather than just covering it up. Pages load correctly from the
start instead of only after you peek once.

hidden now, and so are the newer Shorts thumbnails that had started
appearing in search results.

even though Twitch chat was already hidden. Both are now covered, and

Twitch peeking actually works. If you had chat collapsed, peeking used to
reveal nothing. It now opens the chat properly and closes it again when
the timer runs out.

New in this version

• Color themes — Pick how the extension looks in Settings → General:
Classic, Teal, Violet, or Mono. Your choice carries across the popup,
settings, onboarding, and the blocked page, and works in both light
and dark mode.

• Smoother peeking — Comment sections now fade in when you reveal them
instead of popping into view. Hiding stays instant, and the fade
respects your system's reduced-motion setting.
