    • The tooltip’s AI button now looks up the original selected word or expression
      with its context, even when the traditional dictionary matched only part of it
      (for example, “wild-eyed” instead of “wild”, or “plea deal” instead of “plea”).
    • The black tooltip header now follows the term defined by the AI. Returning to
      the dictionary restores its own term and definition, including alternative
      dictionary entries and server results.
    • Improved AI instructions for complete compounds and expressions, including
      phrasal verbs. The lexical headword can omit an intervening object pronoun
      (“give it up” → “give up”) while retaining the meaning conveyed by the context.
    • Recognized masked forms such as “f__k” and “f**k” now show the localized
      “Definition not found” message without a dictionary or AI lookup. Detected
      word-boundary cuts also prevent a tooltip AI request.
    • Preserved extended selection context on Safari and Firefox for contextual AI
      lookups, and protected term/definition pairing when a dictionary result changes
      while an AI request is pending.
