NudeNyang Web Translator translates eligible visible text on webpages while preserving the original page layout.

The extension requires the free NudeNyang Translator companion application for Windows 10 or Windows 11. Version 0.7.0 Beta or later is required.

Features:

• Translate visible headings, paragraphs, lists, quotations, tables, and image captions.
• Preserve links, emphasis, lists, and the existing page structure.
• Start or stop translation using F4 or the extension popup.
• Restore translated pages to their original text.
• Automatically translate sites explicitly selected by the user.
• Use the same translation language and interface language configured in the Windows application.
• Support local translation models and optional external translation providers.

The extension communicates with the installed Windows application through Firefox Native Messaging. With a local model selected, webpage text remains on the user's computer. If the user explicitly selects an external translation provider, only eligible text required for translation may be sent to that provider under its terms.

Forms, code blocks, account pages, login pages, payment and order pages, private-message pages, browser-internal pages, cookies, and authentication tokens are not translated or transmitted.

The developer does not operate a translation relay, analytics, or storage server and does not collect or retain webpage text, visited page addresses, browsing history, credentials, or translation history.
