Privacy Policy for Ogoo59 Downloader

Ogoo59 Downloader is a browser extension that detects downloadable non-DRM media on the current webpage, including video, HLS (m3u8), audio, and images, and allows the user to download selected media.

1. Data processed by the extension

To provide its core functionality, Ogoo59 Downloader may process the following information locally in the user's browser:

• Media URLs and related network request information required to identify downloadable video, audio, images, and HLS (m3u8) streams.
• Media elements and limited webpage content required to detect downloadable media on the current page.
• Temporary download task information, progress information, and extension settings necessary for operation.
• How the information is used

This information is used only to:

• detect downloadable media on the webpage currently being viewed;
• display detected media in the extension interface;
• retrieve media selected by the user;
• save selected media to the browser's download location;
• display download progress and allow cancellation; and
• maintain necessary extension settings and temporary task state.
• Data collection and sharing

Ogoo59 Downloader does not collect or transmit personal information to the developer.

The developer does not operate a server for collecting extension usage data.

The extension does not sell, rent, share, or transfer user data to third parties for advertising, analytics, profiling, creditworthiness, lending, or other unrelated purposes.

When a user chooses to download media, the browser may connect directly to the website or media server hosting that resource. This connection is required to retrieve the media selected by the user and does not transmit user data to the developer.

1. Local storage and temporary files

The extension may use browser-provided extension storage and temporary browser storage to maintain settings, download task state, and temporary download data.

HLS or large-media downloads may temporarily use browser storage while media segments are assembled. Temporary data is removed when it is no longer required, including after successful completion or cancellation where technically possible.

1. Permissions

The extension may use permissions including webRequest, scripting, declarativeNetRequestWithHostAccess, downloads, storage, host permissions, and browser-specific background processing permissions.

These permissions are used only for the extension's single purpose of detecting and downloading user-selected non-DRM media.

1. Remote code

Ogoo59 Downloader does not download or execute remote JavaScript or WebAssembly code. Executable extension code is included in the extension package.

1. DRM and YouTube

DRM-protected content is not supported.

YouTube downloads are not supported.

1. Personal information

The extension does not request account registration and does not collect names, email addresses, passwords, payment information, location information, or other personally identifying information.

1. Changes to this policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated if the functionality of the extension or applicable policies change.
