OneVideo helps you stay focused on a single YouTube video. The extension hides distractions, guides you back to your chosen video, and saves other videos in a local queue for later.

Privacy

OneVideo does not use its own server, analytics, advertising services, or browser sync. Video titles are taken from YouTube pages that have already been loaded. Thumbnails are only reused from images that have already been loaded, where the browser allows it. Otherwise, a local icon is shown. OneVideo does not make its own external requests for video titles or thumbnails.

The queue, settings, and video metadata needed for OneVideo's features remain local in your browser profile. Titles, URLs, and locally stored image data that are no longer needed are deleted when a video is removed, completed, or when the queue is cleared.

Up to 500 IDs of completed or removed videos are stored separately so those videos are not automatically added to the queue again.

YouTube's normal network connections when opening and playing videos remain unchanged. OneVideo is disabled in private browsing windows.
