Your tasks never leave your browser until you sign in. Before sign-in the extension makes zero network requests: tasks live in your browser's local storage and nothing is transmitted. When you choose to sign in, the extension connects to your Onplana workspace over a standard OAuth flow (no password is ever entered in the extension) and syncs your tasks from then on.

Once signed in, the extension records anonymous usage counts (which features are used) against a random per-install id. No page content, no task content, and nothing that identifies you personally. This is gated on being signed in, so the first claim below holds literally.
