If you use a VPN or shared network, you may occasionally find that an embedded YouTube video refuses to play and instead displays a sign-in request, verification screen, or "confirm you're not a bot" message.

Open YouTube Embeds makes it easy to open that video directly on YouTube instead.

When a webpage contains an embedded YouTube video, the extension adds a small Open on YouTube button to the player. Click it and the same video opens directly on YouTube in a new tab.

If the embedded video plays normally, the button automatically disappears once playback begins, so it stays out of your way when you don't need it.
