PageWatch monitors web pages you choose and alerts you when selected text matches your conditions.

What it does

• Watch any public or logged-in page you configure (URL + CSS/XPath selector)
• Run scans on a schedule (e.g. every 60 seconds)
• Match keywords with flexible rules: contains, regex, equals, changed, and more
• Trigger desktop notifications, optional HTTP POST webhooks, or a sound alert
• Right-click → PageWatch: Track content to start a tracker from the current page

Privacy-first

• No account and no developer cloud backend
• Tracker settings are stored only in your browser
• Data is sent only to webhook URLs you configure (optional)

First run

On install you’ll see a short consent screen explaining permissions. Firefox may also ask for access to read website content on pages you monitor — that’s required to check the text you selected.

Typical uses

• Price or stock changes on shopping sites
• Status or dashboard updates
• Any page where a specific word or value should trigger an alert
