PairDrop Web is an independent, unofficial browser client for sending files and text directly between your devices.
Open the extension from the browser toolbar, then open pairdrop.net or PairDrop Web on another device. Devices can connect through nearby discovery, a pairing code, a QR code, or a temporary public room. Once connected, select a device and choose the files or text you want to send.
Key features:
• Send files and text between desktop and mobile browsers
• Pair devices with a six-digit code or QR code
• Reconnect paired devices across different networks
• Use temporary public rooms when nearby discovery is unavailable
• Direct WebRTC transfers whenever a peer-to-peer connection is possible
• No account, advertisements, analytics, content scripts, or injected page code
• Locally packaged extension interface with no remote executable scripts
