PantryButler Cooklang Export captures recipes from any website and sends them straight to your Pantry Butler pantry as Cooklang-formatted files.

How it works

Click the toolbar icon while you're on a recipe page. Cook Export automatically extracts the title, ingredients, step-by-step instructions, servings, and prep/cook/total times using page structure (JSON-LD, microdata, and common recipe markup).
Review and edit the extracted details in the popup. If a page has no recognizable recipe structure, a manual entry form appears so you can paste the recipe yourself.
Connect once to your Pantry Butler server using a secure OAuth sign-in opened in a new tab. Your server URL is configurable, so it works with a self-hosted instance or a local development server.
Push the recipe to Pantry Butler with one click, or download it as a .cook file / copy the CookLang text to your clipboard.
Privacy Cook Export only interacts with the page you're viewing and the Pantry Butler server you connect to — it does not send your data to any third party. It requests two data-collection permissions: authentication information (your Pantry Butler sign-in token) and website content (the recipe text read from the page you choose to export). Exported recipe content goes only to the Pantry Butler instance you configure.

Compatibility Works on Firefox for desktop and Firefox for Android (open it from the browser menu on mobile).
