Review what changed, then send. AI websites are covered by default. Choose Every website in the toolbar popup for broader coverage. On supported conversations, PHI Mask can restore original values locally in replies.
HOW IT WORKS
PHI Mask has detectors for PHI and PII based on patterns such as: name, date of birth, address, phone number, email address, health card number, record number, and social insurance number of the person you are writing about. Based on your settings, these can be masked before any AI can see it; and then unmasked for your eyes only.
WHAT WE RECEIVE
Nothing. The text and files you mask stay in your browser. We do not receive them.
PHI Mask is HIPAA-compatible, not HIPAA compliant. Your file is masked in your browser and never sent to us, so there is no BAA to sign.
FILES
Attach a file the way you normally would. PHI Mask changes the details inside it first, then attaches the masked copy. Use the file's PHI Mask control to compare the original and masked versions.
