    • Fixed background playback recovery, which previously stopped working after the first pause of a video and never re-armed for the rest of the page session.
    • Pauses you make yourself are now detected reliably, including from system media controls and headset buttons, and are never overridden.
    • Recovery now targets the main player instead of the first video on the page, fixing misfires on the YouTube home feed and Shorts.
    • System media notifications now show the site's own title and artwork. Vimeo no longer displays YouTube branding.
    • Removed diagnostic console output from normal playback.
    • This release requires Firefox 153 or later. If you are on an older version, please update Firefox to continue receiving add-on updates.
