Whether you're a casual fan or a dedicated trainer, Pokémon ASCII Tab transforms your boring new tab into an interactive Pokédex experience packed with features:

- Colored ASCII Art — Every Pokémon is rendered pixel-perfect using colored ASCII characters on a canvas. Choose from 6 unique art styles: Standard, Blocks, Braille, Dots, Minimal, and Binary.
- Random Pokémon on Every Tab — Open a new tab, meet a new Pokémon. With the Space key shortcut, you can quickly cycle through all 1,025 Pokémon.
- Generation Filter — Want to relive Gen I nostalgia? Use the generation selector to explore Pokémon from any specific generation (I through IX) or all at once.
- Search by Name or Number — Instantly find your favorite Pokémon by typing their name or Pokédex number.
📊 Trainer Tools
- Base Stats Display — Animated stat bars show HP, Attack, Defense, Sp. Atk, Sp. Def, Speed, and Base Stat Total at a glance.
- Evolution Chain — See the full evolution line with clickable sprites. Branched evolutions (like Eevee) are fully supported — click any stage to view that Pokémon.
- Type Effectiveness Chart — Instantly see your Pokémon's weaknesses, resistances, and immunities based on their type(s).
- Side-by-Side Comparison — Compare any two Pokémon head-to-head with stat bars to find out who's stronger.
- Random Team Generator — Generate a random team of 6 Pokémon, or use the balanced mode for optimal type coverage. Click any member to view their full profile.
