PolicyClue is an enterprise-focused browser extension that helps IT and security teams protect users from data leaks and social-engineering attacks while training them on company-specific policies.

Features

• Just-in-time awareness training delivered as full-screen or bottom-right overlays when users land on sites covered by a policy (e.g. AI tools, file-sharing, personal cloud storage). Includes multiple-choice quizzes to confirm learning.
• Data Loss Prevention (DLP) scans page content and blocks or warns on risky uploads to non-approved services.
• Anti-phishing blocks known phishing sites and warns users before they interact with newly-registered or reputation-flagged domains.
• Download Guard inspects downloaded files against configurable filters and can block or require confirmation.
• Governance applies transparency badges on tools the organisation officially approves.

How it works

PolicyClue is designed for enterprise deployment. IT admins install the extension via Chrome / Edge / Firefox managed policies (Group Policy, Intune, MDM, or policies.json). Configuration - server URL, auth token, computer name - is pushed via managed storage; users do not need to configure anything.
