PriceProven Privacy Policy for the Firefox Extension

PriceProven helps users view recorded price-history information for AliExpress product listings.

When the user enables AliExpress price checking, the extension may transmit the following information to PriceProven:

• The current AliExpress product page URL
• The product title
• The main product image URL

This information is used to identify the AliExpress listing and retrieve the corresponding PriceProven price-history record.

The extension does not collect passwords, payment card information, checkout credentials, or financial account information.

Saved product information and extension preferences may be stored locally in the user's browser.

If the user enables price monitoring for a saved product, the extension may periodically contact PriceProven to retrieve updated price information for that product.

If the user explicitly uses the “Search AliExpress by this image” feature, the selected image is sent to AliExpress's image-search service for the requested search. The image is not sent to PriceProven for that feature.

PriceProven does not automatically modify AliExpress checkout prices or automatically insert coupons.

No PriceProven account is required to use the extension.
